What has driven the need for humans’ advanced cognitive abilities? To gain insight into our own cognitive evolution, my lab studies cognition in a variety of context in non-human primates and other species.  We are interested in a variety of topics that are relevant for understanding cooperation and social behavior, such as individual recognition, perception and perceptual biases, and visual discrimination, among other topics.
